Rules & Guidelines

Identity 

Every student must carry his/her almanac and identity card daily. The almanac must have a photograph and required details duly signed by parents.

Arrival Time

Students coming on their own must arrive at school before the bell rings.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. If brought, they will be confiscated.

Morning Bell

The morning bell is a signal to go to the assembly or classrooms promptly and in silence.

Classroom Movement

Changing classrooms between periods must be done silently and in an orderly manner.

Uniform & Appearance

Students must be clean, neatly dressed, and wear the school uniform on all working days and school functions. Improperly dressed or uniform defaulters will be sent home.

Hair & Grooming

Boys (except Sikhs) must keep hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a black band.

School Property

Students must take care of school property. Any damage must be reported immediately, and recovery will be made from the concerned student.

Books & Materials

No books other than textbooks or library books, magazines, or papers should be brought to school.

Money & Articles

Lending or borrowing money or articles is strictly prohibited.

Valuables

The school is not responsible for loss of valuables. Students should not bring expensive items to school.

Escort Rules

Escorted students must not leave before the escort arrives. In case of delay, they must report to the school office.

Discipline & Conduct

The school may suspend students whose academic progress is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful. Students must be polite and well-behaved at all times.

Parents’ Interaction

Parents should meet teachers only on PTA days or with prior permission of the Principal.

Report Cards

Report cards must be signed by parents/guardians and returned within two days.

Labeling of Belongings

Student’s name, class, and section must be marked on all belongings, including water bottles, blazers, and jerseys.

Green Rules

Students must keep the campus clean, avoid littering, minimize use of polythene bags, and follow eco-friendly practices.

Plants & Environment

Plucking flowers or damaging plants is strictly prohibited.

Safety Rules

Sharp instruments or objects that can cause injury are not allowed in school.

Cleanliness

Students must keep classrooms, buildings, and the campus clean and use dustbins.

Junior–Senior Relationship

Juniors should be treated with love and affection, and seniors must be respected to maintain harmony.

Aggressive Behavior

Students showing aggressive or violent behavior will not be allowed to use the school bus. Parents will be responsible for transport.

Medical Care

A permission card signed by the teacher is required for clinic visits. Vaccination records must be submitted if the child is not fully immunized.

Obedience

Students must follow all orders and instructions given by school authorities.

Examinations

Use of unfair means during exams/tests will result in disciplinary action.

Promotion Policy

A student failing twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue. One subject failure may be given a compartment, subject to performance.

Violence Policy

Students must not cooperate or engage in any act of violence that harms others physically or mentally.

Discipline Norms

Any act disturbing school discipline is strictly prohibited.

Rule Amendments

School rules may be changed without prior notice or reason.

Suspension

No attendance will be granted during the period of suspension.

Latecomers & Defaulters

Latecomers, uniform defaulters, and students not completing homework regularly may be sent home.

Test Misconduct

Students using unfair means in tests will be given zero marks and a warning. Repetition may lead to dismissal.

Telephone Use

Students may use the school telephone only with permission and will not be called during class hours.

School Appointments

Students holding school appointments must wear their badges daily.

Transport Discipline

Students using the school bus must maintain discipline; failure may result in withdrawal of bus facility.

Health Policy

Sick children should not be sent to school. In emergencies, parents will be called to take the child back.

Leaving School

Students are not allowed to go to a relative’s or friend’s house from school.

Birthdays

Birthday celebrations, gifts, and distribution of sweets are strictly prohibited in school.
